“Apple, Cinnamon & Sugar”, adopted by Eleanna Santorineou and presented on Fournos‘ stage since 2008 is now being transfered to a digital game for children, accessible through smart devices. I’m happy to be participating to this project as the main code developer. The project is funded by the Greek Ministry of Culture and is expected to be completed by November 2021.

The theatrical play of the program Helping the Revolution, supporting the creation of a Greek state. From the unknown stories of 1821 has been successfully completed (3-6 July 2021). The program is funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) (in Greek ΕΛΙΔΕΚ). See PROJECTS section for more details.

Our paper An open workshop enabling art students and educators to collaboratively construct multiuser worlds (Manthos Santorineos, Stavroula Zoi, Konstantina Vetsiou) has been accepted for publication to the Proceedings of the 15th European Conference on Games Based Learning (ECGBL 2021), which will take place on 23-24 September 2021, in Brighton, UK. This paper describes the “Creation of the world” workshop developed with @postasis platform.

The Global Earth Art Project is traveling to the Ocean Flower Island, Danzhou city, province of Hainan, in China, as a part of the exhibition “Thesis-Antithesis-Synthesis. Being in the belt of change”, “EVERCHANGING, EVERLASTING: Contemporary Αrt from Greece», curated by Katerina Koskina, as Greece is selected to be the honored country. It is a part of the International Exhibition entitled: «The Tides of the Century – 2020 Ocean Flower Island International Art Exhibition». Visitors within range of the exhibition (Lat 19.65139, Long 109.1767) may be able to download the app from their smart device and experience the virtual artwork overlaid in the horizon of the Ocean Flower Island.
