Delphus III platform
State
Completed (2009 – 2010)
Concept
Delphus III platform was a prototype of an on-line platform for the creation of collaborative virtual spaces of interconnected conceptual objects. It was developed in the scope of Erasmus Intensive Programmes (IP), that took place in Delphi, Greece (July 2009 & 2010). Delphus III was one of the prototype platforms developed throughout Delphus project (2004-2010). You can see more about Delphus project here and the project web site here.
Technological research approach
During the preparatory phase we investigated state-of-the-art models and tools that have been proposed for various space navigation applications. The Paris-8 group proposed a navigation model based on the “Sins of a Solar Empire” game. I was strongly involved in the development of the database and the back-end infrastructure of the platform, in collaboration with Paris-8 who developed the front-end navigation system.
Technology
